 What to do over spring break? Spend a week at the beach soaking up the sun, or have a week of service? Fourteen Madonna University students chose to spend their week serving others by going on an Alternative Spring Break trip. On our trip we were able to interact with kids at the Boys & Girls Club of Washington D.C., deliver food to people in the Baltimore and D.C. communities, learn about 2-1-1 services, and help out at a Baltimore High School. While serving, we were able to also see some of Washington D.C. and Baltimore, develop friendships, and create new memories. This was a week that I'll never forget!
