It’s amazing to see the bonds that can be broken
when men and women take the bounds, often unspoken,
The strides of progress, fueled by the thoughts of few
the leaps of success, led by morals we hold true.
The difference made can be day and night
just like MLK fought the issue of black and white.
He had a dream that one day we could be,
loving and caring in dimensions beyond what we see
We continue his legacy even today,
with love and care and words that we say.
I now know that one important thing is true.
